Old Fartz ASSEMBLE!
The 2007 LSJUMB reunion was a smashing success. The Band was just barely off alcohol probation, indefinite provisional status, and was completely moved into Shak III. 'Bout 350 old farts traveled from near and far to participate in field rehearsals, the Bandquet, and the football game. In true Band style, the drum major wasn't allowed into the stadium along with several of the Trees, and the most entertaining part of the reunion was when the LSJUMB serenaded their own families and friends until the wee hours of the morning after Saturday's football game. After all, no one loves the Stanford Band more than the Stanford Band loves the Stanford Band.
The next reunion will be held in 2010. The following reunion will be held in 2013, and then again in 2017. (And every 4 years after that.) Mark your calendars! Many people claimed they would be more likely to attend the LSJUMB reunion if it coincided with their class year reunion, so the upcoming reunion timeline reflects that request.
